PORT AUTHORITY

 
The Leipsic/Van Buren Township Port Authority was duly organized under the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code Section 4582.22 and thereby granted all rights; privileges and obligations of said Section except as restricted therein.  The jurisdiction and territory of the Leipsic/Van Buren Township Port Authority includes the entire territory of Van Buren Township and also the territory within each municipal corporation within Van Buren Township.

Leipsic/Van Buren Township Port Authority’s goals are to (1) develop and carry out programs to promote and publicize the facilities and services of the Port Authority, (2) offer to new and existing businesses local development programs and services to enhance such businesses and (3) provide such local, state and federal grant and loan programs to all businesses (existing or new) encouraging such businesses to create full time jobs and invest in real and personal property investments.

Local, State and Federal Grant and Loan Programs available to existing or new businesses are:

v     Putnam County Revolving Loan Funds

v     Community Development Block Grant Funds

v     166 Direct Loan Program Funds

v     SBA 504 Direct Loan Program Funds

v     Enterprise Zone Tax Abatement

v     Community Reinvestment Act Redirection
